Hi everyone! I'm Emily, Needish's community manager, and it's about
time I introduced myself here. As often happens in start-up life, we've
been busy with all sorts of things, and my plans for making this blog
even better have kept getting pushed back. But
we've gotten a couple write-ups in the past week, so I figured now was
as good a time as any to get started.
Two weeks ago we participated in the Salon Pyme in Santiago, an
event geared toward services for small and medium-sized businesses.
Patricio, Fredrik, Renato, Valeria and Helperman all got the chance to
go, making lots of new friends - Fredrik even lost his voice for the
rest of the week as a result! The event organizers sat down with
Patricio to get a better idea of what Needish is all about, and you can see what he had to say about Needish as a web solution here (in Spanish).
Showing that Needish is about our lives in the real world and not just the virtual world, blogger Kyle Hepp talked about her experience
trying to start an organic clothing store in Chile. She used Needish to
get an idea of competitors as well as possible suppliers and employees.
Although for the moment it's not feasible, we still enjoyed reading
that Needish had helped her get more information about a project that
would change her life.
I'll be back more with stories of what we're up to, both serious and silly, and information leading up to the launch of our Beta version. Exciting stuff! As always, I'd love to hear from you in the comments or via e-mail at emily[at]needish[dot]com. Take care!
